About

Dear Reader,

I can only assume that if you have landed here, your spaceship either got lost in the fog or broke down and the Alien AA refused to lift you as your policy did not extend to intergalactic cover! Life sucks sometimes doesn’t it!

I however am glad you stopped by. Please feel free to make yourself comfortable for the entire duration of your stay. Refreshments can be provided on request. On second thoughts, I’ve left some plastic cups and directions to the nearest tap, help yourself!

My name is The Indecisive Eejit aka Julie or Juls to my friends. I’m in my early 50’s. My body seems to have accepted this fact, however my brain seems to be in denial, it still thinks it’s 21.

There is nothing flash or exciting about me, I’m just an average Juls.

It’s unlikely you will want to mull over the inner musings of my mind, I mean let’s face it, we’ve already established you arrived here by accident, but I’ve decided to jot them down anyway. It will be a good reminder for me, and something for you to do if you ever find yourself bored and at a loose end!

If you have made it this far without nodding off then I am extremely grateful.

If you want to wander around the rest I’d be honoured.

If you’d like to leave a paw print even better still, I have found a lot of the blogs I follow that way.

If you think at some later date you may wish to return then hit the follow button and I will ensure the porch light is always left on.

If you just want to get into your ship and bugger off then I appreciate you stopping by, even if it was just by accident and I wish you and your ship a safe journey.

The Indecisive Eejit :)

      • Thanks, yo! Get in touch with the dude under the “Banner Artwork” tab. He’ll do up a fresh logo/banner for like, $30 American. He’s a cool guy, but horrible at returning emails…

  1. Well, I got thru your entire introduction and didn’t snore once, so I guess that means I’m hooked. It has been a pleasure meeting you – by accident too I might add, your post was reblogged. It’ll be a pleasure coming back.

    • Likewise, I look forward to reading your blog as well, from what I have seen it looks interesting. I’m glad though I didn’t make you snore, that I would not have liked :)

I’ve just done a few so I’m all outta random facts and am only just back on the Akismet love list after the last time I did one and for relegated to the spam bucket lol. Hope all went well today, was reading your list of side effects quickly on the way home. Holey crap lad! That’s all.

  2. Hope your having a good sunday! Just thought I’d update you on the site. Because my site is private hosted, I dont have the usual topbar that you get on the wordpress.com sites.

If your on wordpress.com, if you go to your reader, hover over blogs i follow so you get edit, Click edit, Then it will show a boxfor a URL to follow. Type in mintedmoose.net and you will see my posts in your reader. You may have to edit the notifications but thats how you can follow me.

You can still comment though using your wordpress credentials so all is well =o)

If your not being notifies of replies to commentson my blog, make sure you tick thelittle box underneath before you post your comment to notify you of replies.

it works out cheaper to be private hosted than pay $200+ dollars a year for wordpress.com sadly

  3. Just saying hi… I’ve got a missus (known on WP as Cimmorene) with the same first name– Julie, Jules, but hopefully not JOO-LEE! (which I unfortunately have a habit of saying when I hurt, or I messed up, and I need her). She is also in her early 40s and ALSO a geeky gamer! (The jackpot just keeps paying off!)

  4. Fanfreakintastic! Envisioning your statement ‘the top of your head off’, I observed the scene from the Men in Black movie series, in which one alien dies (we think) and the face comes off to reveal another. Poor little guy is dying. The smaller controls the larger. The fate of the world, oh my! Thank you for your successful cranium removal procedure.

    • I like the fact that you are completely unconcerned that what I pulled from my wonky top box resembled a patchwork quilt lol
I also like the fact that I can now blame the little fat controller inside of me :)

    • Aww thank you so much for thinking of me, as I said to Tim though I no longer do them. I got onto the Akismet hit list for spamming when I did the last couple so I stopped. I wanted people to see my comments rather than them be relegated to the trash lol
Thank you so much tho, means a lot and congratulations to you, well deserved! :)

  5. Hi Juls, great to meet you. I found you from Austin’s blog party and had to come visit. Can’t wait to take a look around, but had to wave hi! *waving frantically and now thinking its a bit much!*

    • Thank you, I replied on your own post. I found your comment in my spam folder, which by the way is the main reason I don’t do awards anymore, I am still on Akismets hit list! Thank you so much for adding my name to your list. It is much appreciated :)

  6. Too funny!! I have landed here by no accident – I am native to the planet just over there. Our planet is full of aliens that are loud and have little self control over our thoughts and behaviors. But we come in peace!
Happy to have found your blog! :)

  7. Hello,
You let me include some of your words in a book, and I’m super excited and so glad to announce to you that Fall in Love with Writing is published!!!!!!!
Yay, it’s available on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B019CDRZXA?%2AVersion%2A=1&%2Aentries%2A=0
It’s only available as an ebook as I don’t have the resources to print hard copies any time soon.
I didn’t want to wait and do nothing and I’m not looking for the perfect best-selling book; I’m just learning as I go and doing what I can now.
Don’t worry if you don’t have a Kindle, the Kindle Cloud Reader is free and allows you to read Kindle books (I don’t think it’s compatible with Android platforms though). I’m looking at making it available through Google Play and as a pdf too.
Thank you so much for letting me include your words. I really hope you love the book!!!
Let me know what you think of it and any ways I could improve it. And if you have the time to leave a review on the Amazon page, that would be awesome. And to keep updated with everything, please like my writer’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/junidesireewriter/
Look forward to perhaps working with you on a sequel one day – hehe!

  8. So happy to have stumbled upon another fellow eejit. Must be because you left the porch light on. I am presently enjoying the view from your porch, chuckling, and thinking just how grand it is to be in such good eejit company. Thank you.

  9. Well, now I know the Eejit better! Oh and by the way, your mind will always think you are 21…it’s a good thing, especially when your body is telling you otherwise!! I’m off to explore more of your site!! :)

  10. Lol, I didn’t find you by accident, I love the title of your blog and found it on the WP Daily Post challenge Landscape. I knew there had to be a connection with Ireland when I saw the word Eejit, it’s such a lovely Irish endearment. :) Great to have found you.
