Morning
Clearly the train WiFi hates me. As everyone around me appears to seamlessly browse content on their phones, I stare endlessly at a revolving circle on a white page, that mocks me and tickles at my levels of annoyance.
It’s proving detrimental to my reading and catching up. Bloglovin tells me I have no unread posts, which is a lie, I have millions, ok, slight exaggeration, perhaps hundreds. It constantly loses connection and reloads, opening windows here there and everywhere peppering them with little messages telling me all the things it can’t do right now……for feck sake!
I’m trying, I promise!
Sometime later in the week
I started that post earlier in the week, but I was unable to finish it as the WiFi did not work on the train home that night, or in fact the day after, so the little half post had to lounge in my drafts until tonight.
I was going to do another if we were having coffee post, but in all honestly my life has not been that exciting this week so it would be a very short post. Apart from a night out with the girls, it was very much same old same old.
Thanks to the 12th July holidays I am not back in work until Wednesday, I’d promised that I was going to use today to catch up on my blogging and writing, but I lied to myself and in between copious amounts of cooking I played GTA. I’m not sure what it was, perhaps I got out of bed on the wrong side, but I was not feeling very hospitable. I can’t even say it’s because I’ve been having late nights as I’m having trouble keeping my eyes open these days, and I mean during the day as well….ffs!
That said, Spotify is doing a great job where GTA failed and keeping me calm. I’m currently on Chill playlists, the first one to catch my eye being a Cinematic Chill out one. I adore soundtracks and this is opening my eyes to so many that I have never heard. I am a happy woman indeed.
That’s all I’ve got for now, what’s new in the world with you eejits?
I shall leave you with the lovely Starlights by Tracey Chattaway in the hope it will put a smile on your face like it did mine!
What a great train you ride in Juls ! Your picture shows a desk, coffee cup and you floating around with space shuttle thrusters in your ears. Must be heaven ;) <3

Lol to bring fair, even though I don’t actually have all those things its not a bad train ride, apart from the shitty WiFi that is :)

I was without broadband and wifi at home for three weeks, so know exactly how you feel. Hope it’s all up and running for you this week.

I don’t know how you made I though that. I’m fine for a couple of days but then I’d slowly crack up because that’s how I watch TV and everything lol

oh honey – you should unplug for a spell – it does the soul good – to “not” be connected – but I know – that’s an evil thought that stresses you out – but then, maybe if you did have, let’s say 500 unread posts etc., you’d learn to really strip it down to the nuddy pants XD
LOL – right, I’ll stop teasing you know – and hope that you find the alignment you need to be well – and happy – whether that’s playing GTA or whatever stems the madness knocking on the door.
I’m battling heat and humidity wave — and paying for it physically – I’m hobbling like I’m 107 – lovely dah! ;)
And so we shall hobble puddle forwards – for it is Summer – and we pray for this heat all winter long – and so it is – and we thank the Techno gods for their blessings as the other day I dumped a full, tall mug of – thankfully cold tea – on my open – lap – top.
Exciting, yes?
Thankfully what little brains I possessed in the moment kicked in and I was able to react quickly enough to save the system – but honestly, I am such a dumb-ass at times – lol – okay – more times than I care to share ;)
Be well and safe my friend XXX

You forget that if I had 500 posts I would not be able to read them without access to the internet….you eejit lol
That’s horrendous about your laptop, how were you able to save it and be careful you don’t fry yourself, I would miss you terribly. I should also perhaps say I was drinking coffee as I read, and set it down quick smart, better safe than sorry, not only because I kinda like my laptop, but also because I am plugged in. I never did suit a perm!

Roflmao — yeah, it was plugged in at the time etc …. haven’t figured out the blinking router set up – so direct connect (such a drag) + keeping the battery charged.
You know – funny thing – there is a power bar on the floor – right where all the tea was sloshing off my keyboard onto the desk onto the floor – and I causally nudged it away – but honestly – I just wanted to save the lap top and not fry it, the internet connection – as for me – pheh! it wouldn’t matter – but I tell ya, the techno gods and goddesses (oh blessed be) were smiling at me (roaring with laughter too – I’m such a dimwitted eejit – this isn’t the first “dump on a keyboard” ) in that moment!
Sheesh – you’d think I’d have learned something “smart” by now??

You’re very smart, what are you talking about, perhaps a little technologically (when you throw liquid round things) challenged lol

yup – except when I’m most definitely around gadgets, gizmos and I have beverages in hand – then I’m the proverbial “dumb-assed blond” – and yeah, I can say it, because I’m naturally a dirty blond ;)
