All I actually want to do is sit and write a huge rant about work, but I have decided that’s not a good idea for the following reasons:
- Nothing is going to change, I still have to go back tomorrow.
- My boss might read it at sometime if someone lets slip this is my blog.
- If I spontaneously combust in the middle of the night I would hate for people to remember me as the bitter bitch whose last post ever was rant about her place of employment.
I decided I would do the Cosmic Musicology Test instead, because I have missed Steve and his weird mind bending via music ways.
For those who are unsure how this works, here is a little refresher of the rules as laid out by Captain Cosmic himself.
For each test Steve will post 3 new questions so…
(1) Go to the music player of your choice and put it on shuffle
(2) Say the questions aloud and press play
(3) Use the song title as your answers
(4) NO CHEATING
Title your post “Cosmic Musicology Test: …” and link back to this test’s page.
Post your response in the comment section of that week’s page.
Have a look at the archives or click on “Cosmic Musicology” in the category cloud on this page to see all previous tests.
Any suggestions for future questions welcomed!
For more information, to submit ideas for future questions, to host your own or just general feedback go to Cosmic Musicology Test.
This weeks questions:
What makes me laugh? – Roseta Stoned by Tool – I’ve never been stoned as in, hey am I the only person can see those pixies in the forest kinda stoned, and I am pretty sure I don’t ever want to experience the, holy feck is that a brick heading for my specs kinda stoned. So I will have to say Shady introduced me to the band Tool, and sometimes he can be a tool, which makes me laugh. See how it all works out in the end.
What makes me cry? – Freedom by the Housemartins – The thought of freedom does actually make me shed a tear, freedom from a lot of things, but currently about running for the hills and not stopping.
What makes me mad? – Fragile – Frankie & The Heartstrings – Lately with my head all over the place, my feelings of fragility have actually made me feel mad. At the minute it seems like nothing is certain and nothing is stable. I want to go back to the sure footed mountain goat days of my youth.
Over to you, what answers will Captain Cosmic squeeze out of you?
If you run for the hills you have to stop otherwise you’d go head first into the hill. :)

I need a new one. I was in a meeting that was so exciting the other week that my over shoulder boulder holder broke :( I went running for the hills at the weekend and currently have black eyes lol

Oh dear. Not good to have the puppies running wild. You must have some wild meetings? I’ve heard about those types of meetings on dirty internet sites lol

Sadly I think it was more to so with the fact that I fell asleep, slid off the seat and under the conference table lol

Nah, someone kicked me under the table before it got that far and the jolt obviously was too much for the already fragile structures of my over shoulder boulder holder lol

If you don’t mind sharing the house with obnoxious little hairballs, you’re always welcome to run away to here. :) Just mind your water glass, both of them have gotten to where they won’t drink out of their bowl anymore.

Um, so there may be a blogger who is possibly setting up a private blog to discuss career issues in more detail (though not in illegal or unethical details) because her coworker and boss know about the current place. And this blogger may allow only certain people onto this blog. Which could make it a safe space for some people to vent. Maybe this weekend. Maybe.
Just sayin…
I like the answers LOL, I will have to do this tomorrow to balance out my non-patriotic post :-)

Oh my gosh. I know someone who has a lot to vent and whose boss reads her blog on occasion.

That’s the problem when people from real life start to find out about your blog, it actually makes writing more restricted lol

For most of the people, it’s no problem. My only real issues are at work. ;-)
